An attempt to bridge something in the in-betweeness
The Peoples Want manifesto brings together the lessons and analyses that we have drawn from the last two decades of struggle and from our exchanges at the four previous internationalist gatherings we've organised. It sets out our vision for a revolutionary internationalism for the 21st century. It looks at both successes and challenges faced by insurgents in various contexts. It sets out our shared understanding of the current situation and our initial working hypotheses to strengthen our collective work for the future.
This is a version designed by Tofu Stand as a special edition, printed 180 copies by Bleed Print. All proceeds will go to Mujawara network of The People Want, for supporting two new spaces to open, one in post-revolution Syrian and one in Uganda organised by Sudanese exiles.
About Mujawara: The Arabic word Mujawara refers to a revolutionary neighbourlineness, that we have already begun to weave from all these territories, these spaces and popular powers born of our struggles. From this planetary mutual aid that we will deploy in June 2026, resources will be pooled, new spaces will spring up, walls will be repaired, new alliances will be forged, and maybe from all this, wounds will be healed and new hopes will begin to sprout.
